CBMIE Strategic Cooperation with FCTG

On November 18, 2010, Johnston, CEO of FCTG Group, the largest timber distributor in North America, together with Pankratz, president of Olympic, FCTG’s branch in Canada, visited CBMIE. Huang Anzhong, VP of CNBM and President of CBMIE, met with the visitors. The two sides had an in-depth discussion about the all-round cooperation in timber and reached the intent of longstanding strategic cooperation. By agreement, FCTG will continue to supply no less than 1 million cubic meters of North American timber to CBMIE every year.

Through years of fast development, CBMIE has grown into China’s largest timber supplier, holding an over 70% share of the domestic market and ranking top in the trade volume of New Zealand radiata pine. The unique business mode, new business philosophy, good business credit, high operation efficiency and quality services make CBMIE the domestic most influential timber distributor.

As a major wholesaler and trader of North American timber, FCTG occupies 25% of timber trade volume in North America, and boasts rich experience and strong market influence in fields such as procurement, trade, logistics and futures trading.
