On July 28, 2011, Ma Jianguo, vice president of CNBM, met with a delegation from JGC Corp. JGC, Japan’s largest general engineering technology company, boasts more than 20,000 oil & gas development, refining, petrochemical, environmental protection and pharmaceuticals projects in over 70 countries and regions. At the meeting, the two sides exchanged ideas in depth on matters such as cementing economic and trade cooperation, promoting JGC to purchase CNBM’s products including steel, equipment and composite materials, and popularizing new housing in the Middle East.

On July 29, Ma met with a delegation from Sumitomo Osaka Cement Co., Ltd. Sumitomo Osaka and CNBM have maintained longstanding relations in such aspects as economic trade, research and development, and technical exchange. At the meeting, both sides spoke highly of previous cooperation, and undertook to cement communication and exchanges to promote cooperation in such aspects as cement equipment purchase, special cement R & D and production, as well as industrial and urban waste utilization.
