CNBM, Active Solar conclude solar power station project agreements

From October 11 to 13, led by President Yao Yan and Vice President Ma Jianguo, a delegation of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) visited Ukraine, and concluded cooperative agreements with Activ Solar on solar power station projects.

During its stay in Ukraine, the delegation held talks with relevant government officials of Ukraine, including Kopylov, vice minister of economy and Vassiliev, director of the New Energy Agency on cooperative development of the wind power project, application of film solar cell modules in the BIPV project, as well as cooperation in other aspects of building materials such as cement and glass.

On October 12, witnessed by Luo Weidong, counselor and Luan Chunsheng, former counselor of the economic and commercial counselor’s office of the Chinese embassy in Ukraine, CNBM and Activ Solar concluded theAgreement on 500MW PV Power Station Project in Ukraineand theAgreement on Two 20MW PV Power Stations in Ukraine. Under the agreements, the two parties will take the opportunity to deepen cooperation and accomplish win-win.

During the visit, the delegation also paid a call on the Chinese embassy in Ukraine, conducted a field survey of the silicon material plant under Activ Solar, and visited the existing grid-connected solar power station constructed by CNBM.

Among the entourage were Zhang Jinsong, deputy general manager of China National Building Materials Import & Export Corporation and general manger of CNBM International Trade Co., Ltd., as well as other relevant personnel.
