On March 29, 2012China International Cement Conference sponsored by China Cement Association with the theme of "extend the cement industry chain and promote corporate restructuring and upgrading" raised curtain in Beijing. Qiao Longde, President of China Building Materials Federation, Lei Qianzhi, President of China Cement Association, Fang Dafei, Director of the world's Cement Sustainability Initiative Organization (CSI), Eduard Bolshakovof Russia Cement Alliance and other guests at home and abroad attended the Conference. Lei Qianzhi introduced the development of China's cement industry during the "Eleventh Five-Year" period, particularly the basic situation of the cement industry in 2011. He believes that, in the context of overcapacity, the cement industry must extend the industrial chain to achieve further development during the "Twelfth Five-Year" period.

Qiao Longde pointed out that the theme of the Conference coincides with the historical turning point of China's cement industry. After the total production of China's building materials industry, particularly the cement industry reached more than 50% of the global total, it is critical to carry out the cement industry transformation by considering how to realize better and healthier sustainable development. He believes that in 2012, China's building materials industry will continue to witness stable and rapid growth, and the cement production and profit will increase over the previous year. It should be a priority to extend the industrial chain and promote transformation of the cement industry during the "Twelfth Five-Year" period.

Chairman Song Zhiping on behalf of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) delivered a speech at the welcome dinner "Night of CNBM". He said that China's cement industry is an important basic raw material industry for the national economy, and has actively explored a new road to industrialization, strived to achieve harmonized economic, resource and environmental development in recent years and made great progress. In 2011, China's cement industry has actively responded to the increased costs, increasing environmental constraints and other new issues, intensified efforts in technical progress and innovation management, relied on the increasing industry concentration ratio and kept the good momentum of increasing production and price, as well as increasing profits. China National Building Materials Group (CNBM) advocates that the cement industry's interests should be put above the interests of enterprises, advocates theintensive developmentidea of stock optimization and symbiotic market concept of win-win.
