On January 8, China Triumph International Engineering Co., Ltd. (CTIEC) and Ulan Qab Mengzhong Cement Co., Ltd. subordinate to China United Cement Corporation (CUCC) signed EPC Lump Sum Contract on construction of 1million tons/year cement project in Mongolia. Construction of the project will greatly mitigate disadvantages in Mongolia cement market like high cement price, unstable cement quality, and tense cement supply, so as to boost the State of Mongolia’s infrastructure development.

With territory of 1.56 million square kilometers and population of more than 2 million persons, the State of Mongolia is a land-locked country in the central part of Asia. Located in the Mongolian Plateau, the State of Mongolia is adjacent to the People’s Republic of China in the east, in the south, and in the west. Since China established diplomatic relations with the State of Mongolia, particularly since both countries forged a strategic partnership in June 2011, bilateral trade volume between China and the State of Mongolia increased sharply, and now China has become the State of Mongolia’s largest trade partner and largest foreign capital origin.
