On June 9, “2013 China’s Top 500 Foreign Trade Enterprises Forum”, sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, released the list of “2013 China’s Top 500 Foreign Trade Enterprises”. China National Building Materials & Equipment Import & Export Corporation ( CBMIE ) ranks the 37th.

Through many years of development, CBMIE has formed six business segments: CNBM International Trade, CNBM Equipment, CNBM Mining, CNBM Steel, CNBM Wood and CNBM Energy, involving the product trade such as building material, steel, wood, minerals, coal, electromechanical equipment, new energy, etc., export of large outfits, general contracting of international projects, e-business, e-logistics, etc. With the business philosophy of “Do Professional Things with Professionals in Professional Spirit” and the management objective of “Highest Efficiency, Lowest Cost, Best Risk Control”, CBMIE will innovate business patterns, enhance fine management and create a stronger and better enterprise.

Last year, CBMIE’s overseas business focused on the project construction of “Dubai Logistics Center”. “Dubai Logistics Center” is CBMIE’s first overseas logistics center, with CNBM’s three major functions and missions: “Trading Platform, Logistics Platform and Service Platform”.

In the future, with the business objective of “platformization”, CBMIE will innovate a new pattern of foreign trade development according to the pattern of “Low Risk & Stable Profit”, accelerate construction and perfection of three platform systems: “bulk commodity service platform, ok order e-commerce platform, domestic and foreign logistics park platform”, and create an internationally-competitive first-class enterprise.
