Song Zhiping attends signing ceremony of China-Thailand strategic cooperation agreement

On October 11, 2013, during his visit in Thailand, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, together with his Thai counterpart Yingluck Shinawatra, was present at the signing ceremony of the China-Thailand ministerial strategic framework cooperation agreement. Among other attendees were Song Zhiping, chairman of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) and heads of some Chinese financial institutions and enterprises.

At the ceremony, the 50 MW solar power station project signed by CNBM with IRPC in association with Solartron was announced. As Thailand's largest PV solar project, the project will be fully constructed by China Triumph International Engineering Co., Ltd. and will become a model for China-Thailand new energy engineering technology cooperation.

At the ceremony, Li and Yingluck delightedly posed with officials and entrepreneurs from both sides for a group photo. Following the ceremony, Chinese and Thai media interviewed Song. He said, Thailand's economy is in the ascendant, CNBM will take the opportunity of Premier Li's visit to Thailand to increase its investment in new energy, new building materials and new houses in Thailand. During his stay in Thailand, Song also visited the PV solar power station which has been put into operation by IRPC.
