On April 29, Song Zhiping, chairman of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM), met a delegation led by Eduard Bolshakov,head of the Committee on Cement, concrete, dry mixture of the Russian Union of Builders and president of “ALIT” Group of Companies at the headquarters. Present were Cui Xingtai, chairman of China United Cement Corporation (CUCC); Wei Feng, president assistant of CNBM and relevant staff of the Department of International Cooperation of CNBM.

Song welcomed the delegation led by Bolshakov and spoke highly of the achievements of the Russia International Cement Conference in cementing Sino-Russian cement cooperation. CNBM has paid close attention to the Russian cement market and maintained close relations with Russia's cement industry represented by Eurocement, he said, adding that CNBM is much willing to explore various cooperation modes and contribute to the development of Russia's cement industry. Bolshakov introduced the actualities and future development trend of Russia's cement industry. As Russia's cement industry is at the historical moment of transformation, upgrading and energy conservation, the Russian cement circles value and thinks highly of the cooperation with Chinese cement enterprises, he said, hoping that CNBM will play a significant role in Russia's cement modernization with the concerted efforts of all sides.

Also, Bolshakov sincerely hoped that Song would attend the golbal Conference”CemEnergy”2014 set to take place in Moscow on December 4. The conference will focus on global concerns reducing energy consumption and CO2 emission in the cement industry of fase developing economies.
