On December 23, Song Zhiping, chairman of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) held talks with Thomas Schulz, CEO of FLSmidth, Denmark. The two sides exchanged ideas on cooperation.

Song welcomed the delegation led by Schulz, introduced CNBM's development this year with focus on its cement and engineering service businesses and its prospect of globalization, and expected the two sides to strengthen cooperation in more fields. Schulz introduced FLSmidth's business situation, and expected the two sides to further cement cooperation and give full play to respective advantages to provide quality products and services to the global cement industry. Also, the two sides reviewed the successful cooperation in cement projects, explored the development status and trend of the global cement industry, and reached broad consensuses on next-stage cooperation in construction equipment and mining equipment.
