Premier Li Keqiang Visited the Booth of CNBM at the “Chinese Equipment Manufacturing Exhibition” in Brazil

As a concerted action of Premier Li Keqiang’s high-level visit to Brazil and three other Latin American countries, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PRC held the “Chinese Equipment Manufacturing Exhibition” in Rio de Janeiro of Brazil from May 20 to 22. As one of the 24 exhibitors, China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) participated in this exhibition. On behalf of CNBM, China Triumph International Engineering Co., Ltd. exhibited such businesses as glass, cement, new energy and new houses.

At 10 o’clock on the morning of May 20, after the grand opening ceremony, Premier Li Keqiang, accompanied by Mr. Luiz Fernando Pez?o, Governor of Rio de Janeiro, Mr. Wang Yi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of PRC, and Mr. GaoHucheng, the Minister of Commerce of PRC, visited the booths of some exhibitor. When coming to the booth of CNBM, Mr. Wei Feng, General Manager Assistant of CNBM and General Manager of the International Cooperation Department, reported the exhibition contents of the Group Corporation to Premier Li, who was very pleased after hearing that. Premier Li still remember that he and Ms. Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, witnessed the signing of green building cooperation project by Mr. Song Zhiping, Chairman of the Group Corporation, with AGN Group of Germany in Schloss Bellevue in Berlin. He also highly appreciated the rapid development of CNBM in the transformation. He hoped that such technologies of CNBM as sheet glass, cement, new energy and new houses could be widely applied in Brazil and other Latin American countries through this exhibition and promotion.

This exhibition showed the technologies and level of Chinese equipment manufacturing industry, further promoted the economic and technological cooperation between China and Brazil, injected new energy to the Sino-Brazil comprehensive strategic partnership, and laid a solid foundation for exploring the Latin American market.
