On June 9, 2015, a delegation led by Mr. Jean le Pavec, Economic Consul of the French Embassy, and Mrs. Adeline Dohin, Director of the Business Investment Division of the French Embassy, visited China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM). Mr. Wei Feng, General Manager Assistant of CNBM and General Manager of the International Cooperation Department, welcomed these visitors. Both sides had talks on such affairs as deepening the exchange and cooperation of building materials technology, innovative cooperation modes, etc.

Firstly, Mr. Wei Feng warmly welcomed this delegation of officials from the French Embassy. He introduced the business development of CNBM, and its favorable cooperation with French companies. He said that CNBM was willing to cooperate with French companies to explore the international market, and hoped to have cooperation in production capacity and equipment manufacturing centering on countries and regions along “One Belt and One Road”. In addition, CNBM was also eager to cooperate with French companies to push the rapid development of the urbanization construction and residence industrialization of China.

The delegation led by Mr. Jean le Pavec thanked Mr. Weifeng for his warm reception. Mr. Jean le Pavec praised CNBM for its achievements in building materials field in recent years. He hoped that French companies and CNBM would discuss new cooperation modes, expand their cooperation fields, and jointly invest in overseas building materials market. He also said that France had a lot of outstanding companies and institutions in the fields of energy-saving and environmental-friendly products and technologies R&D, and that he would make efforts to promote the international communication and cooperation between CNBM and building materials industrial associations and leading companies in France.
