Mr. Jin Zhanping, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of ICCC 2015, and Vice President and General Secretary of the Chinese Ceramic Society, and over 1,000 representatives shared this great moment together.

In his speech, Mr. Cao Jianlin points out that the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of PRC attaches great importance to the technical innovation of traditional industries, and has invested several hundred of million yuan as research funds in the field of cement and concrete in recent 2 decades, builds national key laboratories in universities and research academies for development of new technologies and innovation, and greatly strengthens the construction of international scientific cooperation bases. All these are favorable measures for the future, and have achieved significant fruits. As an international platform built by the MOST in China Building Materials Academy, Asia Cement and Concrete Research Academy welcomes scientists from all over the world, and hopes to build a bright future with all of us.

In the global production of cement, Asia takes up a proportion of 80%, while China occupies a proportion of 60% in the cement production of Asia, which is a big challenge for the resources and environment of Asia. Asia Cement and Concrete Research Academy is established to promote the exchanges and applications of advanced technologies in Asia. With this platform, China Building Materials Academy and other countries in Asia will make great contributions to the sustainable development of global cement and concrete industry.
