Mr. Song Zhiping Talked with the Minister of Finance of Thailand

On January 29, Mr. Song Zhiping, Chairman of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM), had a talk with Mr. Apisak Tantivorawong, the Minister of Finance of Thailand, at the headquarters of CNBM.Both sides had in-depth exchanges about cooperation in such high-end industrial sectors as new building materials, new houses, new energy, hoped to strengthen cooperation, and boost CNBM’s investment and development in Thailand.

Mr. Song Zhiping welcomed Mr. Apisak Tantivorawong and his delegation, and introduced the development of CNBM.CNBM is one of the Top 500 Enterprises in the world, and the biggest company of building materials in China. Its businesses of cement, commercial concrete, plasterboard, fiber glass and so on occupy the largest share in the global market. It also operates businesses involving such EPC services as new houses, PV, wind power, carbon fiber, cement, glass, etc. It operates in many countries and regions all over the world.According to Mr. Song Zhiping, CNBM’s current businesses in Thailand run smoothly; heis optimistic about Thailand’s development in the future,andwill regard Thailand as a target country of investment and operation in Southeast Asia, andmake full use of local advantages, and promote the development of new building materials and new houses.

Mr. Tantivorawong thanked CNBM for its warm reception. He had in-depth knowledge of CNBM’s global operation and current investment in Thailand.He said that as this was the Year of Investment Promotion in Thailand, the government provided new favorable policies to attract foreign investment, and Thailand had great potential demand for building materials in the future. He hoped that CNBM could take advantage of the opportunity to intensify its investment in Thailand.
