On February 12, 2016, exactly the fourth day of the first month in the Year of Monkey in China, China Triumph International Engineering, Beijing Triumph and HeidelbergCement of Germany jointly reviewed the Shymkent 3200TPD cement project being implemented in Kazakhstan, and had a meeting of senior executives.Mr. Ma Mingliang, General Manager of Beijing Triumph, had a working talk with Dr. Albert Scheuer, Board Member of HeidelbergCement and Director of the Asia-Pacific Region and Heidelberg Technology Center.

For a start, Mr. Ma Mingliang introduced the Shymkent 3200TPD cement project. This is the first cooperation project of Beijing Triumph with Xinjiang Triumph Project Department and HeidelbergCement. For this project, theyhave overcome such difficulties as work visa, narrow construction site, complicated existing underground facilities, etc., and applied the burning system and the grate cooler independently developed by Beijing Triumph. Over 95% of equipment used through the whole process of the project was made in China.The project steadily ran the HSE management system, and successfully utilized P6 software and S-curve to manage the progress. It took only 15 months from the start of project to the ignition of the production line, recording the fastest construction among all overseas projects.Dr. Albert Scheuer appreciated CNBM’s capacity of operating a project and its technologies, praised the project as a practical and successful one, had in-depth discussions on long-term cooperation between HeidelbergCement and CNBM, and indicated that he planned to visit CNBM, China Building Materials Academy and China Triumph International Engineering as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ma Mingliang inspected the work of Shymkent Project Department, which was in the stage of production commissioning and operation, debriefed the report of work by project directors, visited workers at the production line, who stuck to their posts during the Spring Festival, and delivered his wishes and greetings to about 100 workers, who kept working to guarantee the normal operation of the project during the festival. He required workers at the production line to accelerate the commissioning of production and the tail-in work of the project, and make efforts to realize automation as soon as possible.

The Shymkent 3200TPD cement project is the second complete EPC cement project of China Triumph International Engineering and Beijing Triumph in Kazakhstan, and the fourth clinker and cement production line in Central Asia and regions of former Soviet Union, following 5000TPD in Azerbaijan, VICAT3200TPD in Kazakhstan, 2500TPD in Kyrgyzstan and 2500TPD in Uzbekistan. This project is implemented by China Triumph International Engineering with the coordination of Beijing Triumph and Xinjiang Triumph under the guidance of the “One Belt One Road”Strategy and the correct direction of CNBM, producing fruitful results.
