On April 12, Chen Yongxin, General Manager of China National Building Materials & Equipment Import and Export Corporation (CBMIE) and Chairman of the Board of CNBM General Machinery Co.,Ltd. met with Yoav Galant, Israeli Minister of Housing in Shanghai. They made in-depth opinion exchange and agreed upon issues concerning Israel Housing projects and long-term cooperation.

Chen Yongxin first showed appreciation to Minister Galant for the special trip made to Shanghai for the meeting, and then introduced the development of CNBM Group and CBMIE, especially their superiority and experiences in terms of housing and the supply of building materials and household accessory facilities. He said that he was optimistic about the development of the Israeli market, and the company will take this cooperation project as an opportunity to actively participate in construction and supporting projects in Israel. He hoped that the cooperation would be promoted by combining the advantages of both sides.

Minister Galant recognized the strengths of CNBM and stressed that Israel welcomed the participation of a large-scale international company enjoying prestige in building materials industry. He also expressed appreciation for the outstanding performance of CNBM General in the cooperation. He said that in view of the huge potential demand for building materials in Israel in the future, CNBM should seize the opportunity, and the Israeli government will also support the development of CNBM in Israel.

Other participants of this meeting included persons from the Government of Israel and the Embassy, Mr. Kelly (representative of the Israeli Owner), Xu Zheng (deputy general manager of CNBM General Machinery Co., Ltd.), Zhao Xin (marketing director of BNBM Homes Co.,Ltd.) and others.
