Western TV Union Stepped into Azerbaijan Cement Factory Constructed by CTIEC and Beijing Triumph

On October 25, the media group of Western TV Union “Silk Road Line with Brand” visited Azerbaijan NORM Cement Factory under the arrangement of Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Azerbaijan. It is generally undertaken by CTIEC and designed and equipment supplied byBeijing Triumph. The press group had a report on the construction process of the cement factory and the contribution to the development of the local economy and society.

Journalists in the press group took photos of the cement clinker production line, made an interview and learned about the hard experience of CTIEC andBeijing Triumphto have overcome numerous difficulties and established the largest and the most modern cement factory in Transcaucasia with a daily production of 5000 tons. They also knew about the leap development and achievements in four large plates of the NORM cement factory. Furthermore, they also interviewed Hasan, General Manager of Azerbaijan side, who expressed great gratitude to CTIEC for the advanced factory they had constructed. He also showed the will for deeper and wider cooperation with China.

The press group of “Silk Road Line with Brand” works on the live broadcast of Chinese brand along the Silk Road countries and the achievements made by China-invested enterprises through all media, in order to gather China experience and build Chinese brand. The NORM Cement Factory undertaken by CTIEC andBeijing Triumphhas changed the hard situation of the dependence on imported cement in Azerbaijan. It has directly solved a 400-people employment problem, and has created 2500 job opportunities in related mechanical engineering, transportation and fuels, which has been an outstanding contribution to the construction and development of Azerbaijan. It is the model for Chinese enterprises to positively join the construction of “One Belt and One Road” and international production capacity cooperation.
