On November 29, the signing ceremony of float glass production line engineering project with a daily production of 250 tons was held in Shanghai. It was a general contract project of CTIEC for the PUGLASS Company of Tanzania. Peng Shou, President and CEO of CTIEC, and Muro, General Manager of PUGLASS Company of Tanzania, signed the contract.

The float glass project with a daily production of 250 tons of PUGLASS Company was located in Dar es Salaam, the capital city of Tanzania. The most advanced float glass process and equipment will be applied, so the short supply situation of float glass in Tanzania and surrounding countries would be greatly improved after the construction is complete. The implementation of the project made it the first time for CTIEC float glass technology to export to Tanzania. It was another engineering general contract project following overseas float glass engineering general contract projects completed or signed by CTIEC in Egypt, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Algeria, which marked a further strong step of CTIEC in the expansion of African glass engineering market.

Sun Jian’an, Executive Vice President of CTIEC, Ge Chengquan, Vice President and General Engineer, and leaders and people in charge of relative departments of CTIEC and Bengbu Design & Research Institute for Glass Industry, attended the signing ceremony.
